Crafted with a 1/4 inch deeper construction, this casual shoe can accommodate extra volume to comfortably fit those with severe edema, internal braces, and ankle-foot orthoses (AFOs). Featuring hinged contact closures on each side, the Lucie X allows for easy on and off application as well as maximum adjustability to provide customized support and comfort. Roomy enough to insert custom orthotics, this top-of-the-line protective shoe is ideal for those with various foot-related conditions.

The breathable leather and mesh uppers of the Lucie X help regulate heat and keep feet cool and dry. The protective toe box provides extra shielding from stubbing. Indications for this shoe include foot problems associated with diabetes, plantar fasciitis, corns, calluses, swollen feet, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, bunions, hammer toes, Morton's neuroma, and injuries involving tendons, muscles, and bones (e.g. Achilles tendonitis).

For cleaning dirty shoes, first wipe them down with a damp cloth. Use a leather cleaning and conditioning cream, applying it with a clean dry cloth and buffing or brushing to achieve a fresh finish. If needed, a colored shoe cream may also be used.
